Improved diabetes education is the only way to cope with its alarming increase

New research reveals that by 2025 the number of people with diabetes will increase by 20 percent within Europe, 80 percent within Eastern Mediterranean and Middle Eastern populations and 80 percent within the African patient population. And this escalating condition can only be halted if Improved Patient Education is provided at right time.

Diabetes specialists and patients, say that however, to reduce both the financial and personal impact of diabetes on our society, an improved education should be provided for health care professionals and patients.

The group which conducted the research, Johnson & Johnson Diabetes Institute committs to improve the education as a priority within the EMEA.
