Diabetes is growing worldwide at an alarming rate. The recent report by the Diabetes UK finds that diabetes is a major health challenges facing Northern Ireland. For Northern Ireland that equates to around £400 million (€514 million) a year, the equivalent of over £1 million (€1.3 million) a day.
