A new study done by researcher Denice Feig, MD, of the University of Toronto and his colleagues, reveals that women’s who have no previous history of diabetes, and develops gestational diabetes during pregnancy have more chance of developing type 2 diabetes after pregnancy.

According to a study done by the Scientists of the Newcastle University, physical activity or walking helps the body to burn more fat and store sugar. And thus if Diabetic patients walk for more than 45 minutes per day then their blood sugar level could be checked without using additional drugs.

A group of Swedish researchers have found that depression, anxiety and sleeplessness can lead to develop diabetes among men. All these problems can double the risks of developing type 2 diabetes. The study, which looked at 2,127 men born between 1938 and 1957 and 3,100 women, found no such link in women.
